Buildings and Resources
Edgewood College is located on 55 acres overlooking the shores of Lake Wingra and just minutes from downtown Madison. A building boom commencing in the late 1990's saw the construction of new buildings and the renovation of existing structures, including the construction of the Sonderegger Science Center and the Henry and the Harry J. Predolin Humanities Center. The college has several options for community living on campus with seven residence halls and apartment buildings. As well, Edgewood students also have the privilege of using the University of Wisconsin libraries and the Madison Library System because of arrangements with those systems. A commitment to environmental stewardship and sustainability is cultivated at the college and Edgewood is the first college or university in Wisconsin to have been accepted into Wisconsin's Green Tier, administered by the Department of Natural Resources. The program encourages institutions and businesses to go beyond current rules and regulations to reduce their impact on the environment.
