Graduate School Overview

Fort Hays State University (FHSU) is a challenging place to pursue a master's degree in a supportive atmosphere with top-notch faculty instruction. FHSU offers 20 master's and education specialist programs,competitive graduate teaching assistantship opportunities, and research opportunities found at larger universities combined with the personal attention to help students reach their goals. FHSU is a liberal and applied arts, state-assisted institution with an enrollment of more than 11,000 students located in Hays, Kansas.

Highlights

FHSU offers fifteen programs on campus and sixteen complete graduate programs through their award-winning Virtual College for working adults. Admission applications are accepted throughout the year on a rolling basis. The deadline for graduate assistantship applications is March 1. The application fee is $35. The Graduate School requires a 2.5 GPA on the last 60 undergraduate hours and an accredited bachelor's degree. Each program also has specific admission requirements.
